We`d like to maybe try out a cabana in tulum in oct/nov.How hot is it during that time of the year?Would you suggest renting a car to see the sites or taking the collectivo to things you`d like to do?Can you rent cars there or do you need to in playa?Sorry so many questions. :)

October-November is the end of the rainy season, and it is starting to cool off for the winter, so usually it is a great time to come. October is low season, so that means things are pretty mellow in Tulum. There are several car rental agencies in Tulum to choose from. You donīt need a car, though, unless you plan to be really active. Otherwise, you can rent a bike, walk, or take a taxi.
