OM TULUM
6th December 2009, 02:49 PM
Just to give a little heads up on the situation on OM's and Ocho's side of the beach . Om is a neighbour with Ocho and almost had the same issue. What happend to Ocho is a shame but they are working extreamly hard in getting back there location so their lives get back to normal.
That said i have heard that they have and are putting up all their future guest up in comparable accomadations in Tulum. Classy people !!!
Also we at OM Tulum will be using the beach in front of Ocho as a continuation of our beachclub, spa and kite surf lessons by Johan. We will be hiring some of Ochos old staff to try and keep them working and not be out of a job. We have a small location but a big heart hopefully it will work. This means that we will have beach service for the 175 meters. We will be using their beach but no use of the hotel for it is and will stay closed for a while. I hope not that long never good to be neighbourless in business.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I will try to answer all of them but understand we are swamped and the holiday season is coming.
In the end we at Om look forward to the day when Ocho is back on its feet and working again normally.
