La Vita e Bella

Does anyone have any information on a hotel in the Tulum area called La Vita e Bella? It looks really nice and it's certainly cheap enough but I can't find any reviews/opinions anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have not stayed there yet, but i have heard mostly very good comments about it. check out locogringo forum for a discussion of it

Be forewarned: they start blaring disco at the beachside bar long before noon. You can always just move on up the beach if you seek peace and quiet, but the bar-restaurant area is pretty lively. Many Italians and other Euros, as you might imagine It was very attractive, but not the kind of place we were looking for.

If you need amenities, I'm a big fan of Ana y Jose, which is probably the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen, blending perfectly with the surroundings but still quite posh, but if you want to be deserted, keep going on down to the road to Tierras Del Sol.
