Ruins at Night

Are the ruins open at night now? We'll be in Tulum next week. I'd like to know if that is an option if we get too busy during the day to get there. If so, what time do we need to be there?

:wave:HI, no sorry, the ruins aren{t open right now for the night show....I do hope that they reopen it during high season, I never got to see the light show.....

But I have been in there at night...!;)

As long as we're on the subject of the ruins, I always like to let people know that they can enter from the beach road, just go to the end of the road and park. There is one sign there that makes you wonder if it is really ok,. but it is just talking about the gate to the beach, don{t block it. You buy your ticket at the same place as the people how came in off the highway, into a huge parking lot, went through all the hawkers, and then walked down a dusty road or paid to take the trolly.....

I always recommend going at 8am....in the early morning it is like a private meditation garden, tranquilo. But by 9 or so, the tour busses come and it fills up and gets hot too. :sun:
