Unforgettable day, near the arch, not one person passed on the beach the entire few hours we were at this spot...

Susan, this was just before we saw you and Tom on our way back to NVR. Great to see you guys again that day, as we didn't get much of a chance to visit at Om.
I'll always remember when we exchanged "how you doin?" greetings. All of us were of the same opinion, "don't know how we could be any better."

Manitou, is the hammock something that you carry with you then?? I am almost afraid to bring it up with my husband, as he would say, just another thing for him to carry:D. Mrs. Manitou looks to be in complete bliss.:p:island::p

We have two of 'em and they go everywhere with us; fishing, backpacking, camping, etc. Here's the company that sells them - Eagles Nest Outfitters (http://www.eaglesnestoutfittersinc.com/). The hammock weighs a pound and a half and the straps not much, so for less than 3 pounds you get a hammock that will hold 400 pounds. I bought mine after laying on the ground for 4 days while on a backpacking trip. I have sacrificed other things, but NEED my hammock!
If you look closely where the logo is, that is actually a pocket that the entire hammock fits into.

Yes, Mrs. Manitou was in complete bliss, almost the same look she had on her face after coming down from the garlic sauce at Om!

This is one of my most favorite photos of Tulum. My sister, my daughter and I had spent three days in Tulum while my mom and her other half had rode 13 hours to Palenque and back in those three days. The joy when they saw this gorgeous beach just brings back great memories. I especially love this one of my mom.

How do you download all these great pictures when the max file size is so small?

Most of my pics are well over 97kb.

Have you checked out the How to Post Photos on the FAQ forum? The best thing to do is to use a photo uploading site like photobucket or Smugmug and just post the URL to the picture instead of actually uploading a file.

It's a little tricky at first, involves a few extra steps, but worth it.

Should have all the info you need there. Upload your digital photos to an online photo site, and these sites will provide you a URL that you can just copy and paste into a post. So your file size can be anything - you're uploading it there on the photo sharing site, rather than here. I use photobucket because I'm cheap (it's free), but Lynnette and Beachreader swear by Smugmug. Can't recall now, but I think there were some sites that were less easily compatible - maybe Flickr? - can't remember now.

If you right click on my photo above, and get the properties it is only 49.44kb. I don't think you will really have any problems. It may just automatically resize them.
