I'm coming into the Cancun airport at 2 pm in a couple of weeks on Continental Airlines. It arrives at the new terminal. Does anyone know how to get the bus to Playa from there and the times? Also, I would like to take the bus from Tulum back to the airport and would appreciate times that I can do that...I'll have a midafternoon flight out of Cancun

Should be able to find everything you need right here. (http://tulum.info/showthread.php?t=4465) No info. about leaving the airport and heading to Playa there, but look for the folks with ADO shirts on and/or look for the ADO buses outside the terminal. If you do a little searching on this site you should be able to find more info about locating the bus or perhaps someone else will chime in with more specific information.
We are going to Playa on a Sunday and the ADO leaves Tulum at 04:10, 07:10, 09:05, 12:00, 14:45, 15:30, 17:05, 19:00, and 19:30. Also checked for Monday, and those departures are the same.
And, here's the link Terry provided for the ADO schedule:

I took the bus from the Cancun airport to Tulum for the first time a few days ago. 100 pesos to Playa - easy to buy the ticket and find the bus and had to wait about 40 minutes. The buses are big, roomy, clean and air conditioned.
When I got to Playa there was supposed to be a bus leaving for Tulum in 3 minutes according to the schedule but the person selling tickets just shrugged when I asked where it was. The next bus was an hour later so I got a ticket for it (28 pesos) and walked around Playa to kill time. When I got back to the bus station I had to wait an extra 50 minutes as the bus was running late for some reason that no one seemed to know. The bus didn’t say Tulum on it either so you could miss it if you didn’t ask someone who knew what was going on.
Not sure if I hit a rare bad day for bus schedules or if that kinda thing is more common. Didn't matter to me to be delayed like that so much as it was late afternoon when I landed and no way I was going to make it to Tulum before dark. But if you are anxious to get to Tulum from the airport my experience is that the bus may not be for you. However, if the schedules are reliable the bus seems to be a great way to go on a budget.
