Not to switch topics around--but seeing that you are from the Twin Cites---I remember watching the news on the bridge collapse two years ago.
How are things now..I know it was rebuilt.........

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. Wish I could say it was a good one but unfortunately it was probably one of the worst ones I've ever had!

For starters this was the first year in about 5 or 6 that I wasn't celebrating in Mexico but knew I would be down there in a few days so I could live with that...but yesterday I was told that my 92 yr old mother who has been in the hospital for 2 weeks with blood clots in her legs and lungs now has a staph infection and her kidneys are starting to shut down. I have been in so much agony trying to decide whether to go on Sat. and hope she hangs on for a couple more weeks but taking a chance of being called back home or to just cancel by Friday and try to reschedule for Sept. or Oct. I'm driving 1 1/2 hr. tomorrow to check on her and talk to her doctor about documentation for our travel insurance and if no problem with that then I guess I will cancel the trip for Sat.:(
