Going in September

I've been trying to find a way to get down before February with my girlfriend and the only way is to take her two grandkids (ages 2 and 4) with us. Ran down this morning and applied for their passports. Leaving September 7 and returning September 23rd. Airfare was $268 per person out of Chicago on Mexicana. They still allow you 2 bags per person, free drinks, and a real meal. I talked to the manager of Villa Blanca on Cozumel and he is giving me a room there for 2 weeks at $35 a night. Figured the kids would need a pool.

We'll be in Tulum on the 7th. to pickup the Explorer then back in Tulum on the 22nd.

My rule about only bring kids out in public once a year to find out why you don't bring them out has been overcome by my desire to be in Mexico.

LOL Steve, at least you will be in Mexico! Just be sure to slather those bambinos in sunscreen! Should be some report with the girlfriend and grandkids along, and I'm looking forward to it!

Steve O, you crack me up!!! You are a brave man, I must say that I think I would pass before I would take 2 kids that age....I give you tons of credit. This is going to be the BEST trip report!!! I'm sure that you will entertain us well with the stories of your adventures....
