first time on board, but headed down for our (wife and i) second trip to tulum in about a week. have always found this board very helpful. we live in austin and are taking the new viva aerobus direct to cancun and then driving down.

Hey Joe! Welcome! You know, we had a good contingent of Chicagoans on the board for a long time, but I think the Texans are taking over! Seems like I've seen a bunch of folks from Austin.

Where did you stay on your last trip?

we stayed half the trip in town at posada lune del sol - which we loved despite the fact that it was not on teh beach - and the other half in posada lamar - which we didnt like as much b/c we, unfortunately, got no breeze in our cabana and it was hot hot hot.

this time we are staying part of the trip at teetotum on teh road to the beach and the other few days on the beach somewhere - just going to find a place when we get down there.
