Thanks to my amiga Twirley for getting so many great shots of this little known place!

Narrow property with restaurant in front and two rooms behind..Good option for budget travel except that they may not get much breeze being garden style cabanas...but still a great bargain at $80 a night for the double room and I think $65 a night for the twin bed room.

Double room-Double Bed, Bath, balcony. I believe you can see the water but it is not really beachfront

Narrow buildings, one behind the othe, not full sea view in the double room and no seaview in the twin bed room, but very pretty

With these GREAT prices in low season, I think this might become my new recommendation for budget lodging..even if the rooms aren't beachfront..they are spacious and attractive with a great balcony to enjoy..and just steps from the beach.

I believe the price in high season is $120 for the double and $80 for the twin room. I could really go for the double room if I was traveling solo or with a hubby/wife/partner.

The Twin room would be perfect for a couple of friends sharing a room..except for the heat factor.

I have emailed for current pricing, and more description of services. The price includes breakfast, the usual, coffee, juice and sweetbreads. A yoga class is also included at no additional charge.

My friends stayed there in December, and while it was a very nice room (they stayed in the double for $80 or $90 walk-up), they found the bed seriously uncomfortable. They were experienced Mexico travelers so weren't expecting Sealy Posturpedics, but they drove up to Playa to buy a mattress pad and were still in pain after 4 nights.

However, they really liked the place, it's a lovely little property, good beach chairs, hammocks, nice owners (and then the owners left and a friend of theirs took over for a while). Ceiling fan, too.

The open room with the chairs is actually part of the owner's apartment, but it's where they have breakfast for the guests as well.

It's right next to (on the north side of) La Via Laktea, almost looks like part of LVL if you're looking at it from the beach. So it's on the north end of the Tierras del Sol/Hamaca Loca/LVL neighborhood, which puts it even closer to Las Ranitas for the early morning coffee thing.

I'll see if I can find any pictures that will add to what Gale posted above.

You're right....it doesn't look like a breeze would get back to the rooms The ceiling fans will help, if they have generator power during the night. The chairs look comfy.
