Dan, I saved you guys a few beers. Do me a favor. Please walk down the beach and say hello to Jorge and/or Elizabeth at Suenos Tulum for me. It's about 4 properties south of La Zebras. 5 three story green buildings with a dining area/kitchen in the middle. Please reiterate how much I enjoyed my stay at their beautiful hotel and look around. Let me know what you think.

By the way Dan...I wanted to stay a night there and they were booked solid. Good for Tita, bad for me. Hope you guys get some good privacy.

Thanks - will do.

Muchos jugo de naranja on the list, as well as a few cerveza fria. :beerchug:

Doug - I am familiar with where Sueno's is. We passed last year and took some of the ejido pix I posted earlier. We'll stop in and say "Hola" to Jorge and Elizabeth.

Long day today - Chris is filming some PSA's for the Lance Armstrong Foundation tonight starting at 11:00 PM (had to wait for Wheatsville Co-op to close) and I'm the chaperone, and then one last day here at work tomorrow. I might want to pack sometime soon too!

I can almost smell the ocean breeze and taste a cold Sol!!!

Enjoy! We liked the guac and margaritas for lunch at Tita's when we stayed next door at Parayso last year. Looking forward to your trip report! Heenan

Less than one day. OK, so now we really, really, really need to pack this evening.

Dan

And beachreader, did I see you say something about Las Ranitas having decent coffee in the am? How early?

Early! I think she said 7am!!

So jealous, I am. Have a fantastic time!

Actually, the coffee was out by 6:30, breakfast started around 7:30 I think.

You'll be really close to Ak'iin, though, so check to see if Pierre is up and running early there. He used to be open at 6:30 at the campsite, but I don't know the deal now.

Sweet - and getting the most out of the search feature, Ak-iin is just north of Tita's? I can go run for my coff-ay and get back before Chris even wakes up!:need-coffee:

Dan

PS - work productivity is taking a big hit today:cool:. But I am giving some good exercise to our fancy, state-owned, color laser printer for the Sac-Be map.

Don't forget to print out Mayaflya's town map so you can make updates!

And yes, Ak'iin is just north of Tita's, an easy trot for coffee. Pierre's coffee is expensive, and takes time, but it's really good. Actually, maybe it'll be faster now if he's working out of Ak'iin--might have more power than just the backpacker's propane stove he was using for us.

If he's not at Ak'iin, keep going north two small properties 'til you see the campground, I suppose he might be back in there if Ak'iin didn't work out.

Or ask Doug--I think he was going to track Pierre down last week.
