You can check the bus schedules here:
https://www.ticketbus.com.mx/ticketbus/eng/index.jsp
You have to search each leg of the route (ie: Cancun airport to Playa del Carmen; Playa del Carmen to Tulum).

Ah yes, I had that problem too. It took me forever to figure out that the date is automatically set to the year 108. So, make sure to change the date and give that a try!
Also, I get no routes if I input Cancun Airport-Tulum. So, make sure to do break it up!

Ah good, I finally got the site to work! One question, do you know if the prices quoted are USD or pesos?

Those look like MXP (pesos) to me. Cancun to Tulum on premium ADO bus for right around $8 USD (or $76 MXP). Gotta love it.

Ok cool, I assumed but it just seemed too good to be true! Here in the states taking a bus like that could easily cost 80, rather than 8 dollars. Thanks for the info!

Dan, were you able to get a Cancun Airport-Tulum route? I can only get Cancun Airport-PdC ($80p), then PdC-Tulum ($44p).

Nope - from the airport you can only get to PDC, and then you need to get off and buy another ticket for PDC - Tulum. Or as we did, walk up a few blocks and hop in a collectivo. Muy more fun!
You could also take a bus from airport to Cancun Centro and from there buy a ticket to Tulum direct, but that's sort of out of the way.

According to the above schedule the first ADO bus from PDC to Cancun Centro (doesn't look like there is a direct PDC to Airport route) is at 6:50 am, and then they seem to go off about every 10 minutes or so. Some look like they have muchos stops, but I can't really find more detail than that. You can probably take a taxi or local bus to airport from Centro.
Have a great trip!

and then we switched right there at station to Tulum but the one to Tulum was 2nd class; the lady said that was what they had. It wasn't bad at all...to PDC was $8 to Tulum was $2 ...

Yes, there is a direct PdC-Airport bus, the earliest:
PdC-Cancun Airport leaves 7:00 am, and is 1h6m
If you mean Cancun Centro though, it looks like they run all the time, leaving every 5-15 min 24/7. It's 1h to 1h20m, depending which bus line you get.
If you need to be at the airport earlier than 8:05 am, the best you can do by bus from Playa is PdC-Cancun Centro to be in time for their earliest airport bus, which is at 4:30 am and takes 25 min. That's up to 2 hours of bussing, with a detour into Cancun Centro. You might consider a transfer/taxi for a really early departure time.

Hi folks. I'm flying into Cancun day after tomorrow (Saturday 5/24) in mid-afternoon. Should I buy a ticket on the ADO Riviera bus in advance, on the web, or just wait to see what time I get through customs and just pick the most convenient then?
Thanks!
