Hey Margo- trip is great so far, can't believe how perfect the weather has been for us. We've had some great snorkels, and great food, only now I have to cook it! Tried my hand with chyote (sp?) just as you explained, it was really good with butter and garlic! Also, stopped in TUlum at the fish market you recommended and bought some great shrimp.

Hey, as long as you're having fun! Whoopeeeeeeeeeee! So which way did you do the chayote...stuffed or sauted? :burp: (I love that icon)
Here's a question for you.......many people have split their vacations with half here and half somewhere else.....which way do you think is best...the first half here, then move or do you wish you had done the busier part first then come here?
Keep having fun and hi to Rusty!

I would still do it the way we did- just so we wouldn't have the long drive to the airport. We would have to leave there like 5:30 or 6 a.m. Rusty said he would definitely not have a problem staying at Xamach the whole time. I think the split vacation makes is seem longer.
