9 days until Mexico

Hola! First, I figured it was time to quit lurking in the shadows. Second, thanks to everyone who participates in this forum for all of the invaluable advice and information. This forum really helped to convince my AI wife (after 3 years) that this type of vacation is right were we belong! We were in an AI just north of Tulum several years ago but didn't know anything else existed past the ruins. We are starting our vacation in Mexico with stops in PDC (Luna Blue, Mar. 30) and Cozumel (Ventanas al Mar, Apr. 3). Then topping it off at Cabanas la Conchita in Tulum (Apr.6-13).

Welcome from the shadows, solbound. Make sure to ask any last-minute questions on the main board and enjoy your time in PDC and Cozumel before heading to paradise. I've stayed at Luna Blue (Tony and Cheri are great hosts) and been to Cozumel several times as well as my favorite, Tulum. Several folks on the board may be able to steer you in any of these areas, so ask away!

Solbound... we'll be there from the 1st to the 8th of April, staying at Cabanas Copal the whole time. Planning on renting a Jeep Wrangler and probably driving to Punta Allen for one of the days, and Ek Balam and Chitchen Itza another. The rest of the time we'll probably spend in Tulum on the beach or at local cenotes. (PS: As for us.. look for the cute Swedish blondie who's now pregnant and showing, hanging around with an ugly chimpanzee. That'll be us) :)

Kathy (kcaraco)... I sent you guys a private message a couple of days ago. I was saying that Amanda and I were planning on meeting up with you all at Lol Ha. We just didn't know what the "dress code" might be. Also, since you mentioned it was a meetup, who else is going?

mgsipa ! First, congratulations on the new addition!! We are there 6th-13th at la Conchita. Our only plans are Ek Balam with some friends probably the 9th or 10th??? And want to check out Punta Allen and look up XamachDan at Xamach Dos maybe on the 11th (Dan is arriving on the 10th).We found Dan's info on the Calendar along with kcaraco, debski, Rene (all the time...lucky guy!) and Bazile. Other than that we are living free and easy...As for us I think our avatar pretty much says it all and with the tats we should be easy to spot.
