Oh shoot, sorry Maya, I didn't get my TR up before you left! I know I promised the moon, but this week turned out busier than I'd expected. I'm still working on sorting my pictures--that's one problem with getting a new camera with a 2 GB memory card, I took like 455 pictures! Obviously I'll be deleting a few there. :)

Thanks, Windy. I still had some problems with the food shots, but overall I'm pretty happy. I think it'll just take me some more time and practice (practice?) to get those down. Lighting in those dim restaurants is always an issue!

Actually, I love that he's got his iPhone! Very cool to have check-ins that can happen from his beach chair and don't mean that he had to trek to the pueblo to find a computer to use or something. Besides, he's still in the honeymoon phase, and it's probably really fun to use!

just to let you know that the week has flown by....the wind has finally died down, but brought cloudy skies and sprinkles. No worries, got in a full morning of sunshine, an afternoon making fools of ourselves kayaking and snorkeling, and are heading to the Pueblo for dinner! Hoping for a little more sun in the morning before catching a late afternoon flight home. Had a wonderful time, and will need to refurbish the map when get back. Thanks for all of your positive thoughts!

We ate dinner last night at Cetli, in Tulum. I will make a separate post to describe the experience....when I get back and can add pictures. Outstanding! A Yucatecan Hechizo. Modest prices, our least expensive dinner out. If you are heading to Tulum, I recommend at least two dinners there. Unfortunately, we only found it our last night.

Yay! I was wondering about Cetli. I think Lynette posted about them a month or so ago and I totally meant to go find it, but as you know I never left the beach. Next time for sure!
