I need to sample more than a few of those before I can vote.

Maybe you should add a "None of the above" category..lol.

I will just add my list..

Playa Kin Ha (for the guacamole and seafood)
Zamas (for the atmosphere and view)
Ocho (for their Caribbean Breakfast..the usual...fruit/granola/yogurt)

And of course, Mayan Grill..for all of the above and one kicking Margarita!

Hmmm - tough call. There's "favorite" as in "Where do you like to eat at least once per trip?", and then there's "favorite" as in "Where do you eat most often?"

Zamas falls into that second category. The first category? Needs more research.

The polls in the forum only allow up to 10 choices, that's why it is kinda limited.....

Yep, I agree, Dan. We eat at Zamas a lot when we're down but are they my favorite? Hmmmmm..... I dunno......

And things are sometimes hit or miss at a place. We loved our meal at Las Ranitas last trip. And I love the little eating area at Amansala even if the chicken is pretty dry and the menu limited!

It's just so hard to pick one favorite!

I have favorites for different meals, different views and the best margarita. I can't choose just one.

I love breakfast at Zamas. It means "I'm finally here."

Write in vote (in the "closed for renovations" category): El Mirador, for the National Geographic Explorer adventuresome spirit with which one always left their bathrooms. They should have sold T shirts that said "I survived a trip to the loo at El Mirador."

I voted Zamas. Mainly because we have only been to Tulum twice and had limited time there. I do love their banana pancakes though!

:) You got it, Mayaflya, with the side of bacon! I had some of the best bacon on this last trip to Tulum & PDC!

Those banana pancakes look so good. I do love breakfast at Zamas..better than dinner. I like breakfast at Mezzanine, too. Sorry no photo...we ate it too fast. :D

Lynette, allow me to spot you Huevos Ranchero's from the Mezz, along with a cup of their Cappuccino!

Yeah we ate at Zamas twice when we were in Tulum last..It's always consistently good and the atmosphere is really nice. I like their pizzas alot
and their breakfasts, oh and their drinks. It's a good place to go if you're a little tired and don't want to work to much.

Zamas is always reliable IMO, so they're on every trip. I didn't get to Mayan Grill this time and I bummed about that, so they're definitely on my favorites list as well.

I was very impressed with Mezzanine this trip, excellent Thai salad and they had 2-1 margaritas (good ones) starting at 1:00 p.m.! Ply me with alcohol, get a great rating. I'm easy.
