First of all, thanks for taking the time to share your experiences on the forum. Trip reports can be quite long sometimes, so many members prefer to write them in segments. If you choose to break up your report like this, please make just one thread, and when you want to add a new segment, just add to your thread with a new post.
If you are not logged in permanently (with the checkbox checked at sign-in) then you may be logged out while creating your post (this happens after about 15 minutes of inactivity), and it is possible to lose what you have typed. To avoid this, the easiest thing is to just check the checkbox during sign-in. If you do not wish to do that, you may alternatively write your content, then copy it (highlight it all with CTRL-A and hit CTRL-C) in case when you submit, you get logged out. You could also write it in a text editor or word processor and paste it into your post, but this can cause undesired formatting and complicates adding images.
