Hi everybody!

After visiting this site now for a few weeks as a guest, I have finally taken the plunge to become a member. I am really enjoying the reports and photos and find the information posts and tips extremely helpful to prepare for my first visit to Tulum in May.

My partner and I will be in Tulum from April 30th to May 7th, staying at Nueva Vida, then it will be on to Chichen Itza, Valladolid and Isla Mujeres.

I can't wait! :margarita:

Welcome Sabine! Great to have you come out of the shadows and join the party.

Unfortunately, we will be like ships passing in the night. I get to Mexico on the 6th and go to Isla Mujeres, Tulum and other places I'll figure out once I hit the ground.

I wonder, is this your first Tulum visit? Also, it wasn't stated when you became a member but now that you joined you are bound by contractual obligation to come back and give us a trip report. :)

Hi,
I am new today to this site and am a tulum lover from '88 when I first started going down yearly. I usually stay at Zamas and last year I bought land in the Kukulkan area near the beach. I will be in Tulum the week of March 8-15. Has Any one else on this blog site purchased land in Tulum for wintering in now or in the future? I would love to hear from you.
We have 10 people going down this year so it will be lots of fun. I am soooo ready to get out of cold minnesota for the relaxing energy of Tulum and the sound of the waves lulling me to sleep. I am glad to be on board with like minded tulum lovers and look forward to enjoying one of my most favorite places in the whole world with you.

Thank you, Doug, for welcoming me aboard.

It's not only my first visit to Tulum, it's my first trip to Mexico.
After a truly miserable summer here in England last year I'm looking forward to some guaranteed sunshine. (There will be sunshine in May, I hope?):sun:

After the 7 nights in Tulum, we'll be staying for two nights in Chichen Itza, one night in Valladolid and the last four nights on Isla Mujeres, going back on the 14th of May. So maybe our paths will cross somewhere along the way.:)

And don't worry, I'm looking forward to posting my reports and photos. I love both writing and taking photos. You can check out reports and pictures of other places I have been to on www.globosapiens.net/bineba (http://www.globosapiens.net/bineba)
