Hi all. Thanks for all the info so far. I am a Chiropractor in Minnesota, my fiancee is just finishing up Physical Therapy school. We get married in May and will be heading to Tulum for a honeymoon in June! Neither of us have been there before, but we are looking forward to it. I suggested Tulum for our trip after reading about it. Not from a guidebook, or on the web, but a Jimmy Buffett novel (A Salty Piece of Land). I figured Jimmy could never steer us wrong so we are on our way. We are looking at Posada Lamar after reading quite a few positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Any info or advice would certainly be appreciated.

Hey,

We're in MN too..We're leaving to stay at Posada Lamar on friday. Can't wait.
This'll be our 4th trip to Tulum. We've never stayed at Lamar but I'll definitely post our impressions in a report when we get back. We're staying at Lamar in Cabana Rubi for 7 nights and at a house down the beach aways for 6 nights after that.

Hi, Chiro! You might want to re-post your question on the "General" forum, where more people will see it. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and the brilliant decision to spend your honeymoon in Tulum!

Hi all,
I just joined this site and am thrilled to be here. I live in Mounds View and practice Chiropractic, Naturopathy and Acupuncture in Roseville. I love to travel but it hasn't evolved to as much travel over the years as I would have dreamed because I found Tulum in '88 and have gone there for vacation every year since then, usually staying at zamas. Last year I bought land in Kukalkan area not far from the beach and someday hope to winter there. In the mean time I am going in 2 weeks and as always....I can hardly wait to feel the moisture in the air getting off the plane and the first sight of that beautiful beach and stars that practically land in my lap as I lay in my hammock looking up. Glad to be part of a like minded group of Tululm lovers.

thanks for the warm welcomes! I was wondering if Minniemex is going to be in Tulum during the week of March 8-15? I thought i saw your name on the calendar during that time, but your postings say you are going to the maldives?:earth:
Does anyone know if Trecelunas restaurant is open on sundays? My brother has a birthday in tulum on Sunday the 9th.:palmtree:
